“Kelly has accused the now-dead Ailes of sexually assaulting and harassing her in her time at the network”

Also, Neil Blomkamp with District 9, until we found out painfully on the nose social metaphors are the only trick he knows.

I don’t think I’d go so far as to call it his best film, but I really do think The Village is unfairly maligned. For me, it was Lady in the Water that was his real first misstep. What a piece of shit. Too bad it was a sign of things to come.

“I’m the only gay in The Village.” ~ Daffyd Thomas (Matt Lucas), M Night Shyamalan’s Little Britain

It reminds me a little if how Shymalan was priclaimed as ‘The New Spielberg’ and how that level of hype ultimately sank him (for a while at least).

I’ve been thinking a lot about this recently. I saw an article from WSJ calling Jordan Peele “The New Master of Suspense,” and I wondered how the hell he managed to become so ubiquitous on the merit of a single film. Get Out was fantastic, of course, but I’ve never been sure it’s enough to proclaim him a genius just

I’ll say it before and I’ll say it again:

You just don’t understand why Brie Larson saying words has ruined a movie I haven’t watched yet! You just want to take muh freedom of speech to say Captain Marvel is a bad movie because something something SJWs!

this exact fucking website criticized this movie by calling it underwhelming and lackluster you fucking moron

You're scared of girls and nobody should ever take you seriously for the rest of your life.

I’m a left winger my entire life

Unfortunately for the trolls, Captain Marvel is dedicated to a fallen airman, so hating the movie means they hate the troops. I don’t make the rules, I just enforce them.

Guys, I can’t believe Brie Larson’s armies are going to force all men to go watch Capt. Marvel this weekend and cut their dicks off in the theater, this sjw regressive leftism has truly gone too far smh my head

Whenever I sit for a second and think about how many people must be spending however many hours of their lives in a coordinated plan to lower the average score on a film review website of a movie they haven’t seen, in a series they probably otherwise like, just because it has a woman in it… I mean, they do know

It should be noted that many alt-right groups are also going out of their way to use the film equivalent of “I have a black friend.” by using Alita: Battle Angle as a Vivian James-esque shield for their bigotry because for some reason they think it’s “less political” than Captain Marvel.

This is such a stupid controversy on so many levels. In the words of Patton Oswalt “You’re going to miss everything cool and die angry.”

I will always love Captain America: Civil War for how, in the space of about 10 minutes of screen time, Marvel and Sony completely reclaimed Spider-Man and redeemed him from the studio prison in which he had been left by the previous two (!) franchises.

Honestly, that was one of my takeaways from Infinity War - indeed, the MCU as a whole. You have these massive casts that include literal Oscar winners, not to mention incredibly accomplished directors, writers, crew members, behind the scenes people, and they all give a damn. No one is just cashing a paycheck (well,

I don’t remember anything about Apocalypse, despite seeing it in theatres, and I think that must really say it all!

Oh, dude, I thought this was going to be an entry in Age Of Heroes for a second and I got really confused.
