Yeah, its tough because the fight should be for access for anyone to get an abortion. That should be the fight, but at the same time its like we have to hedge and expend energy on at least getting concessions for rape/incest/health of the mother. The amazing thing is that Trump isn’t even good at cheating or lying. He’s so bad at it, but he’s brazen enough that it somehow works at some level. Or its frequent enough that people around him just accept that this is the way it is.

Federal vs State prison is a hell of a thing. Our Federal prison system is actually pretty humane. I’ve visited 3 or 4 Federal prisons and they’re seemingly well run, the guards and staff don’t seem like absolute psychos and overall while the facilities might be in need of repair, they’re well-tended and fairly clean.

I dunno, Kerry lost to George Bush in 2004, which is almost as embarrassing as losing to Trump in 2016. There’ve been so many bad terrible nominees in this damn party.
