Any of Lee’s emotion and tears in the episode were from his frustration and fear of being called out. If he was truly repentant or understood the issues, he wouldn’t have reiterated that stupid “I will try to be a better friend” line at the end.

Agree? Surrogacy laws are very nebulous but I think there could be a case for a HIPAA violation for whoever was the source.
I think the primary concern for rugs where toddlers roam is whether they will hide stains and can be crawled on. :)
I love the blue couch and color combo. I am a big white walls and duvet fan, but I love bold couches and curtains and rugs and art!
The balls woven from sticks... I can’t. I travel a lot and end up in Hilton Garden Inns and the like, and they are all now “contemporary” and have those stupid balls in a bowl somewhere in the lobby.
The chunky shoes are a disaster with the skinny jeans. Maybe he was taking the advice of Quinn from Daria - the chunkier your shoes, the skinnier you look in comparison.
Bryan is a major self promoter - I mean everyone on reality TV probably is - but his Instagram is full of promo of bullshit “health” products that he and his friends apparently sell. I really don’t like him!
Virginia Woolf’s On Being Ill and journals make clear that she had massive anxiety about the quality and lasting power of her work as compared to that of Joyce - to the point that one journal entry mentions that a glowing review of his work in The Criterion left her so anxious that she was confined to her bed for days.
I wasn’t necessarily surprised - my husband has never seen a Lynch film - but I couldn’t figure out why these girls went to a watch party. Obviously they were interested enough to leave their houses and go to a group viewing of a reboot of a show, but they didn’t learn anything about the show?
I was at a watch party event, and afterwards, these two young women in their 20s said to me, “What the fuck was that? We have no idea what we just saw.” I said, “Well, did you watch the original series?” “No.” “Have you ever seen one of David Lynch’s films?” “No.” “Well, that would provide some context for you.”
I cut a former best friend out of my life, and while I grieved the loss of our friendship, she hadn’t been the same person in quite some time. Ultimately, my life is much better because the friendships I focus on now don’t cause me stress.
Not trying to be rude or nosy, but how old are you? I was a massive overachiever until I was around 22 and went to grad school. I was so burnt out that I had no ambition whatsoever for almost 10 more years. It came back. It’s weird, though, because I am old enough to have the wisdom to see that it can become all…
That is amazing advice coming from an auntie!
I’m also an attorney - what you experienced is such an amazing feeling! I am genuinely happy for you!
Every time my husband and I get into a bad fight, he tells me days after that we’re bashert.
I am so sorry about Wots!
I imagine getting sober and staying that way will be difficult and require some humor as distraction. Since you are a Dateline fan, I suggest the keithleansonthings Instagram account.
I haven’t had Hook’s aged cheddar but I love aged cheddars for the little bits that seems crystallized and are so crumbly and wonderful.
I will have Chipotle tomorrow while in the office. No trial prep, just catching up.
I bet Phoebe Robinson is freaking out that the Obamas had lunch with her bae.
