Sooo terrifying and traumatic too.

Yep yep yep. A while ago I described my narcissist mother to someone as ‘[...] basically like if one of your parents was Donald Trump’.

I know it’s horrifying and disgusting. What sucks is there is always someone who swallows the narcissist’s shit. And then you feel crazy when they can’t or won’t see what reality is.

Fuuuuck.

When Trump announced the ban, he said he’d made the decision “in consultation with my Generals,” an assertion which now begs the question: And which generals might those be?

On the bright side, when I read this part:

White privilege is randomly pulling out a firearm in a crowded room and the only response is applause.

And you what the most bizarre part of this is...I agree with their statement.

The “I know you’re lying because your mouth is moving” face?

So tangentially related because the pregnancy angle, I just started watching The Handmaid’s Tale and holy shit, it’s terrifying. The way we fetishisize pregnancy but don’t give a shit about women or live children is really well demonstrated in the show. It’s never been about babies or abortions it’s about controlling

Don’t worry, Kathie Lee, we want cops who abuse their power and injure/kill unarmed minorities to go away too.

“I understand that it’s on the minds of a lot of people but there are so many problems in the world.”

“I wish it would all just go away,” said Kathie Lee clueless white people.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is white privilege in a nutshell.

  • Megyn Kelly ended her first episode.

My husband and I accidentally watched this. I thought I was going to have a stroke.

I keep hearing this “paid by Soros” nonsense and I always ask people who say this why I haven’t gotten my Soros check yet. Especially since GOPers and Trump supporters make it sound like Soros is handing out money like people hand out Hallowen candy.

This election proved there are family members I don’t need a relationship with. Just because we’re related doesn’t mean we need to spend time together or interact in any way.

One thing that frustrates me, almost the most, what was on full display during that segment, about Trump supporters is how they will not ever admit he’s done or said anything wrong. Ever. (I was shocked that the man in that roundtable said his twitter habits were bad). You should never, ever follow anyone blindly, no

For those of you* who “don’t want politics in sports,” it’s because you’re privileged enough not to have to worry about the government eroding your civil rights. For the rest of us, this isn’t the case.
