To be entirely clear, this is an old article. There were high hopes about this, but further study has largely dashed them. It doesn’t work.

This is exactly how sham medicine works. It’s really good at treating things that stand a high likelihood of getting better on their own. She could have done literally anything (except huff Lysol) and the outcome would have been the same.

Oh, FFS Bethesda. Don’t ruin pets.

This is pretty much how I felt as I watched the announcement. All this stuff is super cool, but why make it the last update?

Poor Ari.

I am struggling, but thank you for thinking of me in this difficult time.

In fairness, American companies steal, too. They just do it by underpaying workers and lobbying to rework tax law until they don’t have to pay any.

The game is so bad that even the NPCs can’t be bothered to give a shit about what happens there.

I mean, the same can be said for those who think it sucks. It’s not like the anti-TLJ crowd is calmly noting “I can see why you liked it but I did not” rather than ranting endlessly about how it was a trash fire that broke the franchise and how anybody who liked it must hate Star Wars.

Because you’re wrong, and TLJ was the strongest Star Wars since Empire?

I think the panel placements follow pretty naturally.

No kidding. Trying to read the ludicrously tiny prompts in Doom Eternal has made me want to rip and tear more than a few demons.

Definitely one of the weirder accessibility features I’ve seen, but nice for those who need it.

If nobody minded being tethered, why did we all switch to wireless controllers at all? We could all just buy corded controllers and not worry about any of this.

That’s an option, but still an annoyance. How is tethering myself to the console or to a wall outlet for a few hours less inconvenient than just taking a moment to swap a few AAs and carry on with my wireless gaming as usual?

And more importantly, his inability to navigate that game is very strong evidence that he would have got his clock cleaned by Trump in November.

I kind of wish we could run the alternate-reality experiment of having Sanders lose to Trump just to shut you all up.

Bigger, but still too small to win.

That reflects a difference in voter bases, and not a discrepancy in strategy.
