And more importantly, his inability to navigate that game is very strong evidence that he would have got his clock cleaned by Trump in November.

I kind of wish we could run the alternate-reality experiment of having Sanders lose to Trump just to shut you all up.
Bigger, but still too small to win.
That reflects a difference in voter bases, and not a discrepancy in strategy.
The main “mistake” that Hillary made was being HIllary.
If you buy some Eneloops, there’s no question about having batteries “on hand.” They’re just a thing you own that are literally always there.
I miss AA batteries, and I’m surprised to see this article refer to them as “backward looking.”
Then you thought wrong. I’m happy to pay taxes if I know the money is being used to improve the world I live in.
Plus, it’s hard to have any sympathy for someone who made a deal with the devil when she married for money. You cannot possibly convince me that she was drawn to his charm or looks, because he has neither.
It was a fantastic era. Nintendo was at a creative peak in those years, for sure. Don’t forget partnering with Sega for a brilliant F-Zero!
I think it’s easier to enjoy now that time has elapsed and it can be seen as one experience within the larger context. Sunshine was definitely unusual, and people panicked.
“Who cares about ARMS in 2020?”
In a similar vein (but audio instead of video), I remember playing Metroid Prime when it first game out. I was absolutely obsessed with it, and I wanted to find every single hidden power up, all of which emit a slight humming noise when nearby. I’d become super-tuned to that sound as I explored Tallon IV.
I dealt with this for a little while when I first got a 3DS. For at least a week or two, real life looked pretty weird. I apparently got better at compensating for it later on, because I’ve never experienced it again after that period.
Right. Even if they did feel the need to “fix” this, they wouldn’t do it by making the window breakable. They’d do it by coming up with some other in-lore unbreakable alternative to a window. A force shield or something.
Lenny’s point still stands, though. Good level design is an art, and some structures need to be unbreakable in order to maintain that level design.
It’s infuriating that developers don’t pay more attention to this problem. It’s 100% predictable, it’s a completely elementary design issue, and it’s so fucking easy to fix.
Three cheers for having a classic like Super Metroid on the list!
Very cool, but probably not gonna fly since Lego has already worked with the Sonic license. I don’t think they accept ideas submissions that involve previously-used brands.
What a magnificently idiotic thing to say.
