So... you get why people get mad. And you’re not telling them they shouldn’t. But you’re tired of hearing about it and kind of think it’s their fault for ever buying anything to begin with. And that annoys you enough that you’ve decided to voice your own outrage which you’ve rebranded as apathy.

Except it seems like your game can be affected regardless of whether or not you chose to “buy in” since these changes are impacting people who otherwise might be happy to play their original copy of WC3.

The hotels are going to be built out of them.

Always, always. I tend to be a neurotic traveler, and I’ll usually print two — one stays in my pocket, and the other is stored in my carry-on just in case.

That sucks, and I sympathize. I have the same problem with eggs. Doesn’t matter how you prepare them. My throat shifts into reverse as soon as one hits my tongue.

My favorite part was the wondrous “my version has almost a meatiness to it.”

I’ve cultivated an ability to appreciate the things I like with the benefit of parentheses. Like... I’m capable of pretending the OT exists completely on its own. But I’m also capable of adding the other movies in and treating that as a separate canon.

It’s worth noting that in NSMB2, Nintendo may have designed the game knowing that people could easily just hibernate the system if they hadn’t quite made it to the next save point.

I love the one storage box set off at a jaunty angle to suggest that, no really, this remarkably immaculate and dust-free piece of furniture is totally being used by actual real people outside of a perfectly-lit model home.

Sega acquired the rights to the entire franchise a few years back.

Fantastic game, for sure.

“In the same call with investors in which he said his company “once again achieved record results,” Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick announced that 8% of the company’s workforce would be laid off.”

We here at Bethesda want to be clear that this kind of thing won’t be tolerated. If anybody is going to rob our players blind with this shitty mess of a game, we want to be damn sure that it’s us.

Right, but none of this is the point of the meme, or of this article.

You’re missing the point of the meme. It’s not that games run better on Switch or worse on other systems.

The game is a classic, no doubt. The gameplay is fantastic and the music is brilliant. Plus, it eventually led to Tropical Freeze, which is a legitimate contender for best platformer ever made.

“This video game is the most important thing in my life. I’m only 17, but I know this is going to be my career forever -- the key to my entire future -- and my life would literally be ruined if I couldn’t play it anymore.”

“I’ve been vilified on a global scale as somebody akin to a genocidal villain”

Ah — hadn’t noticed she had a Framemeister already.

Setting aside the fact that this solution requires some seriously expensive kit (a Framemeister alone costs about $400), it just delays the inevitable.
