This is something I indirectly blame achievements for. Once they showed up, there was this new emphasis on “100%-ing” games that just didn’t really exist before.

My only question is why the text on that face-down piece of paper is all written on a diagonal.

These seem Big Picture oriented, so I wonder how (if at all) these changes be implemented on Steam Link.

While the post-apocalyptic setting can lend itself to useful narrative purposes, let’s not fool ourselves about the real reason. Populating a world with a convincing bustling civilization is extremely demanding and difficult. It’s far easier to set your game in that world immediately after life has been broadly driven

This is, and has always been, complete nonsense.

I liked how recent Fire Emblem games allowed you to leave battle animations on, but to skip them any time you want by just holding the trigger when you attack. Best of both worlds. 

That’s actually a pro in my book.

Being subpoenaed doesn’t necessarily mean they’re in any legal jeopardy. It just means that they might have information useful to the case and are being compelled to testify.

I’m not sure if lying is the right word here. It just implies a kind of malice.

I think the mistake is thinking he’s deliberately manipulating anybody. He’s just doing what he does naturally, and the current state of the American electorate is one in which it happens to work. It’s completely Pavlovian. He’s learned, without any conscious thought, that behaving a certain way gets him things.

In fairness, there is a lot of supporting evidence that it does work.
