In fairness, the difference between 30 and 60 fps is much better felt than seen. If someone has trouble seeing the difference, I have no doubt that a few seconds of holding the controller and moving Mario around would make them clear as day.

While everything you say is true, I really like the pixelly look of old sprites. I remember getting the Nintendo wall calendar every year as a kid, and it frequently went out of its way to emphasize the squarish pixels in all their low-res glory. To me, it was a vision of how games should ideally look, and a statement…
Excellent piece. Thanks for taking the time to do the topic right.
Better sell it while it’s worth something, then.

While I’ve gotten better used to the Joycon d-buttons, they still stink for diagonals. And that’s pretty important in Celeste.
It’s not worth fixing the Pro Controller’s d-pad. Even if you get it working flawlessly, the size and location still suck.
Man, don’t listen to the haters. Zero Escape is fantastic.
Because for a lot of people, cooking is a hobby and not a chore.
This whole article makes me sad. The last thing a cooking blog should be doing is encouraging people not to make things from scratch.
Definitely a “to each his own” situation.
It had some cool ideas, especially the way that the final sequence twists itself around the first film’s ending.
I hope I’m remembering that correctly, but I think that was the gist ;)
I’ve always struggled with a fear of flying. A few years ago, preparing for a long flight, I read a book called Cockpit Confidential and found it helped a lot.
No community is monolithic, but there is literally no way to address social issues without some generalization.
Is this like a shtick you have? Give people shit, and then act all wounded when they dish a fraction of it back at you?
Whatever. I always get burgers at least medium-well, if not well.
