For me, it’s not a matter of being consistent with the other icons. It’s a matter of the icon being inconsistent with the game itself. The current “D2" icon just doesn’t jive with the overall aesthetic of the game, which is a strange oversight for a team that otherwise has such a keen sense of artistry.
I know it’s fashionable to lament Wilmore’s forced exit. I like the guy, and he lent a new perspective that is sorely lacking. Those things are great, but not enough to make a show work.
