What's wrong with rodents?
You know humans are an invasive species, too? I hate people. Fuck 'em.
Actually, you're wrong on that front. Some species are more sexually dimorphic than others. There may be external differences, but that doesn't necessarily translate to differences in behavior and sexual behaviors. Take the bonobos, for example. They are less dimorphic than humans, but both males and females submit…
However, this review article says that these assumptions are widely held but little empirical data exists. Women are unlikely to acknowledge the true amount of their arousal by visual stimuli, whether this is done consciously or unconsciously, so the misconception continues (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/P…)…
I was in a play once where the lead was in a spandex suit onstage and he got a boner dancing around and singing. It was in the middle of a performance. Everyone saw. People laughed, he apologized and laughed, done. No one mentioned it again. Everyone understood it was a natural part of growing up because we had all…
Ugh...this old, sexist idea. Women are JUST as interested in looks. If we weren't, women would constantly end up with men that are less attractive than them. However, humans end up married to people just as attractive (or unattractive) as they are. The whole point of life, from a simplistic evolutionary perspective,…
In general though, a guy will focus on the looks, a woman will focus on other things. If a guy meets a hot girl who is unemployed and lives with her parents and no car, does he care?
I think what you are trying to say is, "There are some environmentalists near my home that never take a shower. I hate those guys," rather than, "All crunchy-granola type environmentalists don't take showers and are the absolute worst." The latter paints all environmentalists with the same brush, while the former is…
I don't know anyone who would think once about destroying an adoptive family unless there are mitigating circumstances. Adoptive parents are great and can be just as great (or better) than birth parents. Blood doesn't always matter.
Actually, the term you are thinking of is terminating parental rights. Custodial rights are actually different, since you retain responsibility for the child (financially, at the very least).
I think that your idea about him not wanting to pay child support is speculation, since he has been raising Veronica. He said in a text message that he didn't want to pay child support, but at the time he was being more of a dickwad to his ex than legally terminating his rights (trying to get her to marry him).…
Have you never said something stupid that you wished you could take back? He probably was angry with her and was acting irresponsibly. Giving up your rights in text message? It's not really admissible in court. So there are no legal documents either way (other than the adoption papers he signed, which he has said he…
I don't think that he thought he was terminating his parental rights. That's a different thing than giving up custody. From what he has said, he thought he was giving sole custody to the mother, which does not give up his responsibility for the child.
Right, but saying that does not mean it legally applies. When he signed what he thought was a custody agreement, he was not saying that he didn't have to pay child support. You still have to pay child support even if you don't have sole custody.
Not having legal custody does not mean you don't have to pay child support. That's generally a different agreement. Parents who don't have sole custody still have to pay child support.
After he signed the adoption papers, he immediately tried to stop the adoption. He wanted to tear up the document, but the adoption lawyer wouldn't let him.
Signing away parental rights does not mean you do not have to pay child support. That can be included in the document, but it's usually not. A parent with sole custody still has the right to ask for child support.
The adoption agency that the adoptive parents went through is very shady, as well. They (most likely) purposefully misspelled the father's name and gave a fake birthdate. I don't think anyone believes that Native American always means perfect sunshine and rainbows, but this case is not as straightforward as "he signed…
He didn't say he didn't want to pay child support in a legal document. When you sign away custodial rights, you aren't signing away the responsibility of child support. Tons of dead-beat parents who have no legal standing to see their kids have to pay child support.
He didn't opt out of paying child support. Or at least, that isn't what he meant to do. He meant to sign away custodial rights, which is separate from child support agreements. Sure, if she was being adopted out, then he is off the hook for paying child support, but obviously that is not what he wanted considering he…
