No, it's still not a fact if you ask 10 people. I assume you hang out with other assholes with the same opinions as you, so it's not a representative sample. It's not even representative if you walk out into the street and start asking people. It's bad science.

Just to let you know, there are a few instances of ectopic pregnancies with baby attached to an organ that isn't a uterus (like a liver or something) and the mom and baby living, so maybe we'll be able to figure out how to implant an embryo in a man and have an ectopic pregnancy-type thing? Who knows.

It's interesting that you think feminists are ugly (well, not really), but the fact that you have only anecdotal evidence (i.e. your own biased view) makes you a little silly. Now, not to toot my own horn, but I'm not fat or ugly and I am a feminist. All of my female friends are feminists, and they tend to be a fairly

Oh, so it's okay when a man does that (i.e. every business ever) but when a woman does it it's degrading?

I actually don't like the fact that some of these kids were saying the the girls were degrading themselves and that women shouldn't be topless. It goes along with the whole "have shame about your body" patriarchy thing. I understand what these kids were trying to say, and obviously their views will evolve over time

My only problem with this is that it pots the health of both the mother and second baby (and first, if breastfeeding). Moms need two years to replenish nutrients given to the baby and lost with the placenta.

My only issue with this is that it puts the health of the baby at risk. Moms need to replenish their nutrient stores, which takes around 2 years, to have a healthy second baby and without hurting their own health.

I'm not saying I agree with this, but their "reasoning" is that providing poor people with food stamps and unemployment assistance makes them not want to try to better themselves. Why get a job if you can get a free ride? Not helping them is really helping them by ensuring that they gain independence.

Almost no one asks "what I am," but I love talking about it. My mom was born in Africa to European American missionaries. Her ancestors fought in the Revolutionary War, so she is a mixed bag - English, Irish, Scottish, French, etc. She identifies most with her Scottish ancestry. My dad is Swedish and German. His

I'm not saying people can't leave penises alone. I'm fine with the decision to not circumcise. All I said was 1) I'm not a man, so I think my knowledge on the subject is lacking, and 2) it isn't mutilation because the penis still functions normally (i.e. isn't damaged beyond repair).

But then again, we as humans have an ability that other animals do not, which is to override our instincts.

You say it isn't clear that that is what happened, but the only word you take is Zimmerman's, who would have a large stake in not being thought of as a racist. I'm not saying you are wrong or right, but the fact that you so quickly say that Zimmerman was not racially profiling anyone, and then use as your support

Considering the real Buddhists don't care, I don't see why you should. Buddhists believe that attachment is the cause of suffering, so mourning the loss of historical artifacts is just going to cause pain. I'm all for preserving history, but sometimes it's okay to let go - these items will all fade away eventually.

I like to quote The Little Prince in these occasions: "To me, you are still nothing more than a little boy who is just like a hundred thousand other little boys. And I have no need of you. And you, on your part, have no need of me. To you, I am nothing more than a fox like a hundred thousand other foxes. But if you

I actually find it a little offensive to use the term "genital mutilation" with regards to male circumcision, mainly because it inflates the damage done to the same level as female genital mutilation. Again, I'm not an expert, but being circumcised as a male doesn't prevent you from enjoying sex or getting an

I find it somewhat odd the number of women who have very strong opinions about circumcision. I figure that since I don't have a penis, I don't get to make decisions about other people's penises. My cousin thought the same thing when she had her two sons - she asked her husband what he thought, and he chose to get them

If someone were touching the barrel of a gun when it was fired, they would most definitely get their DNA on it. In Zimmerman's account, Martin grabbed for the gun near the rear site and the hammer. If he broke Martin's grip and managed to fire the gun, Martin would have had a burn on his hand, and his DNA would most

Yes, he said "consistent," but he only examined the photos of Zimmerman and noted that the photos weren't great quality. I've looked at the photos, and they aren't consistent with the injuries I've seen against a rough surface. I'm not a forensics expert, just someone with a lot of anecdotal evidence. Could Zimmerman

I doubt that it happened as he described. There are too many holes. The likelihood that Zimmerman, who worked out so he could be a super-fit cop, couldn't overpower a much smaller, weaker Trayvon Martin without the use of a gun seems deluded. His injuries also don't seem consistent with having your head smashed
