Yes I would. Which goes back to my original response to you — they are not legislating DACA in a vacuum. They’re doing it in context of a shutdown, as a minority, in a midterm year, against this President, while also legislating other things.

This is obviously their play, but it would have been no matter what, and we got good legislation (funding CHIP) in the meantime.

Of course they made a decision for purely political reasons. Just like they support DACA for purely political reasons. DACA is a political issue, and the people legislating it are politicians.
