Speaking of things not being what they seem, I disagree about Miriam. Richard's attempt to start an oven gas fire probably will fail since he broke the window, and she is breathing as the camera pans to her body.

The Wizard of Oz-ness of Wild At Heart always struck me as very shoe-horned in and unrelated to anything.. it was just random references. I don't understand that movie.
It's almost like they know there are multiple types of lynch/TP fans and change up the episodes..
Whatever anyone involved has publicly said, i'm convinced that they are setting up more than a single potential season worth of stories.. intentionally.
maybe after the terrible looking explosion of Dougie's car he said fuck it

What some people seem to be overlooking is how original this high level idea is. What other show/series/film has ever had someone basically slowly waking up from a sort of coma to become themselves over the course of it?
The guy that ran into the wall head-first.
Really? I know several.
I didn't say I agreed with it.
I think some people think having it as an interest imparts an intriguing quirkiness. I dunno, are you saying it's controversial that people present themselves as being into certain kinds of art for selfish reasons?
I get your point but I think the shift in context is the idea that people are pretending to like something to feign having 'good taste' or wanting to seem like the kind of person who likes Twin Peaks because you like what cred that imparts on you.
The sound of Chad eating in the conference room was incredibly revolting as well.. but maybe that's just a me thing.
Also when Cole takes Albert aside to talk to him privately at the morgue, then screams in clear earshot.
geez that would be kind of amazing and make you say 'of course!'
I love his energy for the show. I hope he's in more episodes.
Ignore the haters, you are actually right on. Even my girlfriend who only watched TP recently said the same thing to me halfway through.
i missed that completely
Huh? I feel like he has made hot women look the hottest they've ever looked in their careers… see: almost every woman in all his movies.
Speaking of weird teeth what's up with David Lynch's? I kind of cringe whenever he opens his mouth.
