i felt like an idiot, can you explain her joke?

it was a nice idea for a scene but why do they get up and go over to each other 4 feet away instead of just talking?

I thought Tim Roth was great.. it's a small part but if you watch him the entire time he's on camera, everything he does is pitch perfect.

*uncomfortable laughter*

So wasn't that the owl cave symbol on the note Maj Briggs left?

That was… not great. Pedestrian. I don't have much comment beyond that.

in private?

To me, Under The Skin is probably the best movie of the last 10 years or maybe 20… I realize I am fairly alone in that…

Season 2 had some horrifyingly dark episodes.. do you remember the Halloween one with the demon? Seriously twisted, chilling stuff. It got very philosophical too… had a True Detective S1 vibe.

Does anybody else think Millennium is criminally underrated? At least, at its best.. From my recollection the 1st season could be a bit boring, and the 3rd was much more 'procedural', but my gf and I used to have it as appointment viewing in season 2. Incredibly well written and acted, and SUPER SUPER DARK,

Lisa Shue? Did he fuck up or was that something people called her?

I suspect it's not as I've seen only one mention of that! He was selling insurance though I guess.

I was wondering who that was, she was hot as hell.

Someone in an earlier episode thread said that he was from Lucky 7 Insurance according to his card, Dougie's employer. I haven't gone back to the episode to see if that's true. He was at least from SOME insurance company, he said so I think.

The one interesting thing is to wonder if the showrunners/writers pay attention to riffraff like us. While you're watching mid- season, it's with the knowledge that nothing anyone says about the show is going to matter because it's already been made.. but I do wonder if reaction to a particular season makes them

1) Maybe 'above' means an attic-space not a full fledged level?

ANY actor would probably gravitate toward doing a take where he's sort of stumbling over his words and breathing heavily and freaking out etc.

Watching this again, I can't help but think about the 'writing' meetings between Lynch & Frost, where they talk about everything that's going on in the series and actually smile and nod at the craziest ideas and understand it all. I mean, I'm not saying I would kill some people to have video of those meetings, but

That's mentioned below, and truly an awesome factoid.

Good call, I totally missed/forgot that. She chose Amy and Mike is now out on his ass.
