lol this feels like not a serious question. Also I'm not even sure if my phrasing is right, but I feel like y'all know what I mean anyway. There's no need for the sexual tension is my general point. These are two single people that just met, and so quickly she comes across like she's making pillow talk, and then they

I'm pretty sure penises are used to put demons into things. #notallboarders
Also, I don't know if I'm even going to be able to hate watch this show. Constantine himself isn't poorly written. Zed seems okay, but her lack of a unique personal motivation bums me out. I know I've complained all over about the sexual

Eska isn't as skilled at bending as Kuvira. It would be handy to have Eska as your spokesperson. That poker face is master level.

something about this makes me think of those "Skateboarding is not a crime" signs.

i don't disagree

I agree, but I also don't think Bataar has the charisma necessary to sustain the movement. Maybe he has the juice to attack his old home, but I doubt that people would have the same level of devotion to him as they do Kuvira.

I didn't say that chemistry means sexuality. They might have had good chemistry if that part of it wasn't so distracting. It may get better. Anything could get better. Under the Dome had some B+ episodes. It doesn't mean it didn't have a couple D+ episodes along the way. It doesn't mean that some episodes aren't

Still think you're assuming too much. They wanted peace and order. If Suyin could have delivered on that they wouldn't be upset at her for not supporting a monarch. It's weird that you think that two officials that work in a democratic system of government would insist on having Su (a person who clearly doesn't

A bajillion. I don't know why it's hard for people to wrap their heads around the idea that I try to reply to specific people in hopes of having a discussion. Having one consistent take isn't that strange. People say it wasn't that bad. I say why it was. My reasons shouldn't be different every time.

That could happen. There are still a lot of different ways for Bolin to escape.

Eh, I disagree because if she killed Kuvira and captured Bataar Jr. her army wouldn't just continue running business as usual. The inner circle is two people. There's not enough to keep it headed in the right direction. We'll probably end up with chaos again without somebody stepping up though.

Or she could have at least been part of the conversation. Like she could have just took an active role in helping the earth kingdom transition to something other than a monarchy. It seemed like she didn't even want to be part of the discussion.

Yeah, I agree. I basically think Su is asking too much of her.

Yeah, I have trouble imagining them doing it well, and, even if they did it well, it would still make me sad.

B+ might have been high, but it feels appropriate for me if only because of how clear the drop-off is between the two episodes for me. In the pilot they were genuinely trying to establish a creepy atmosphere throughout, and it wasn't just about jump scares. I also dislike forced sexual tension in my shows, and I

I did not enjoy the "chemistry" between them. It felt like forced sexual tension. I preferred the inherent conflict of John's desire for self preservation v. the fact he feels obligated to protect his friends daughter. I also thought the pilot tried to maintain a creepy atmosphere throughout most of it. Even when they

It wasn't just boring it was bad. The first episode was character-driven and actually tried to maintain an unsettling atmosphere. This episode seemed to be just jump scares, forced sexual tension, and a mystery solved as soon as that lady said she was Romani.

I know they had the casting change, but it's like somebody immediately decided they didn't want to put anymore effort into the show after the first episode. First episode wasn't good, but it was a solid try. This really felt like someone turning in a late homework assignment.

No no, this was significantly worse than the pilot. The forced sexual tension, the mystery girl we have no reason to care about who just all of a sudden has powers, this monster of the week detour with the answer obvious as soon as the woman said "Romani", and the heavy hint dropping that she didn't like her husband

Hooboy, you are not wrong. This episode felt significantly worse than the first episode. The friend's daughter angle didn't leave them room for forced sexual tension. This whole episode felt underdone and rushed as far as narrative and dialogue goes.
