Yep. Everyone’s remembering what these used to cost, but guess what? That was a decade ago, and finding one this clean with a matching hardtop is a unicorn. Now $10k for this is really quite reasonble. Find me a car you can have more fun with for $10k.

I have an 87 with a 5 speed and 22re as my daily. Stock height with Bilstein shocks, 31 inch tires, and a soft top. I never want to sell it.
Its packing arguably the worst motor Toyota ever made. The boat anchor 3.slow. If you live in a state where you can do the 3.4 swap, go for it. As much as I love the first gens I'm sticking to those with the 22RE
