Haggling is great, so long as folks recognize when it’s appropriate to haggle and when it isn’t. haggling on low cost items(<$100) in retail stores in the US is not appropriate.
Yeah I would say it’s entirely inappropriate at the high school level. Professional sports are a different entity entirely.
I have to say that the idea of testing hormones or genetics in order to "classify" people makes me very nervous.

I don’t like the idea of invading people’s privacy and testing their hormones/genetic purity. that makes me very uncomfortable. but you’re right, the current system isn’t working. except in wrestling, which matches competitors by weight...although plenty of schools decide to separate genders into teams :/ mine didn't.
Uh, sports AND scholarships are competitive by nature. It’s up to you to up your game. Plenty of people who receive scholarships have unfair advantages, both in sports and academically. I mean really?
