Paging Saracen! He's got a Golf R with well over 50k miles on it, but it's not as if the ST hasn't had some teething pains since release. It's a good car, but it has had a few issues with the turbo(!), intakes, MFT, clutches, and transmission, just to name a few.

I haven't been there, I'll have to try it the next time I visit. If the place you are eating doesn't have many English speaking servers, you are in the right place.

The Fiesta is an economy car. I love the batshit insane ken block specials, but I really wouldn't expect it in the market. I would however say asking for a Focus to have AWD is reasonable.

I vastly prefer driving cars that aren't FWD, AWD or RWD are just plainly more interesting and factually better at putting power to the road. We're talking about rally cars here, but the ST isn't a rally car, or a Fiesta. This argument has gone so off point that it's entirely moot.

But it's still comparing apples to oranges, since it shares very little in common with the Fiesta other than chassis. This is a race car, the Fiesta or WRX are street cars. If I spent 60k on a street car, I can do far better than an R2.
