I’m a fan of the Direzza DZ102s as well, though my wife’s Mazda 2 doesn’t use them. Instead I put them on a Miata shortly after I bought it replacing the old allseasons that it came with. It was just so much better in everyway, and the DZ102s weren’t even that expensive.

Ha, saw a new SS with that conversion as well. Was gone when I came out to snap a pic sadly.

This was my thought, 60's especially, as that’s before vacuum lines really got out of hand. Tons of space, simple mechanics, fewer parts and little electronics. Just have to stay away from rust, but that’s a problem even with 90's cars.

Any relatively complete socket set should have each of those.

First thing I thought of as well.

Graceful Red Mica (90 Mazda Protege), Black (95 Ford Escort), Silver Frost Clearcoat Metallic (99 Mercury Sable), Peacock Green (93 Dodge Stealth), Silver Frost Clearcoat Metallic (01 Ford Taurus), True Red (12 Mazda 2), Jade Metallic/Light Beige Metallic (86 MR2), Classic White (90 Mazda Miata), Aspen White (99

Most early motor issues were either related to oiling issues (2 squirters instead of 3, or people not realizing they need to keep an eye on it) or coil packs going bad. A significant number of engines were misdiagnosed with bad engines because of bad coil packs and were then replaced by re-manufactured engines. The

the TT does have rear seats, at least in theory...

Awww, don’t be boring. There are plenty of cars you can get that are just as reliable and cheap to own without making the teen fall asleep at the wheel. You want more enthusiasts you gotta start em young.

With out Opel to supply Buick with cars anymore we may see them get cut back and reserved for the chinese, though Buick has beengrowing quite well. I’m not sure how much of that is in the US. Reducing their small car production isn’t a bad idea right now, though I wouldn’t cut it completely. With Republicans in

Might just be my area with those prices then, though the ones I usually find are R3s with 50k or less miles so probably comparable with what you got.

This is the right answer.

In this price range I’d avoid it. A well taken care of 09+ with the updated engine is much more reliable but they seem to hover around $15k right now. The 05s in this price range would be a headache, and not necessarily for apex seals, but for things like spark plugs and coil packs. That and at that price range

I got a Miata that only needed an alternator and battery for $1800... Also had an MR2 for $2500. They were older than these but far more sports and far more affordable

So like slot car racing but full sized?

A FWD 2 door impala? Hard CP for practically any price.

You are correct, it’s been a while since I’ve had to apply the terms to anything meaningful.

The snap oversteer was largely over hyped. Midengine cars do rotate faster having a smaller polar moment of inertia, but the biggest problem came from people driving them like front engine cars.

I’m impressed you don’t have more issues with student loans and other living expenses.

College has changed a bit since you graduated in the cost department. I’ve got an engineering degree and work at GM and can’t afford one of their cars due to $600 in student loan payments. That was just public school, though dorming for 2 years didn’t help, I still have less than anyone who went to private school.
