It is, at least with its annual Christmas specials.

At least the first two seasons (what I've listened to) are about Romana as President of Gallifrey and Leela as her bodyguard, both teaming up to tackle Romana's opposition within Gallifrey's high spheres and envoys from other planets trying to pick on the Time Lords.

I wish Big Finish would fix Donna in any way possible.

I'll take that advice into account whenever I get the urge to try Classic Who again.

Incidentally those two are by far my favorite companions of the NuWho era.

Someone have Neil Gaiman write that please.

We'll take on her together!

I loved Rory calling 11's shit all the time. I would've shipped them.

I'll admit I'm a millennial born in the ninties who was NEVER exposed to Doctor Who. I started watching the new series sometime during Eleven's time and quickly became a fan.

See my comment below. And Antononymous' answer. Big Finish did a couple of Susan stories with the Eighth Doctor.

At least Big Finish's audio stories made her justice… a little bit. Susan returned for a couple of episodes during the Eighth Doctor Adventures along with her son (interpreted by Paul McGann's son) and it was pretty cool.

Oh god. Is it infectious?

And it's really the best ship.

I havent't gotten that far in the Gallifrey series (where they star together) but so far it's pretty fun to see them tackle Gallifrey's corruption and politics together.

I have this weird relationship with NuWhu where I really love a Doctor and then change comes and I'm sure the new doctor sucks. But then I give it a bit more time, watch more episodes and end up thinking that the current Doctor is way better than the previous one.

I still feel bad for Susan's departure, which was similar, except by the fact that she never consented.

I prefer how they did Donna. Donna's easily the best companion of the Tennant years and was probably given a better chance because of the distance with Rose.

That's why I liked her appearances in the fourth season. She comes off as a way better character.

Is there an american equivalent to Idris Elba? Or is he going to have to make an american accent?

I couldn't get into Adventure Time even after four seasons, lol
