That NBA rights deal seems nuts, but I think I’d rather have it than their MNF deal right now. The games are usually getting terrible ratings and they seem to spare no expense in production, talent, etc. for them.

They turned over the roster. The only player remaining from Summer Split 2016 is Pobelter, and he’s stunk this split. I know they didn’t meet their expectations last year, but I’ve never been a fan of change for change’s sake.
1) Support counter-jungle isn’t even that “out there” in terms of strats.
IT BEGINS CONTINUES!!!
Hey, he totally had that until he was fouled.
If this was “hindsight makes fools of us all” it’d be different, but these decisions sucked the second they were made. Trading Lopez to duck his contract to give Noah $20M more and have that obligation for another season had to be one of the dumbest personnel decisions in recent history (non-Bargnani division).
He’s a robot. Just do like the Spurs and turn off the AC, forcing him to burn through his coolant.
I think they’re stuck with him because the cost of dumping his contract would likely include a 1st, and...yuck. Just, yuck.
The DMC trade is a better long-term trade than any kind of short term fix. I think NOLA’s wing rotation is so bad now it’ll hold them back from making the playoffs, but we’ll see.
Pelicans went from flotsam to “We’re making the playoffs!” to flotsam without playing a single game. NBA, you so crazy.
Jesus, they were playing Marcus Thornton 17 minutes a game? Maybe this trade ain’t that bad after all.
You have this power and still let Ernie Grunfeld ruin most everything?
Counterpoint: The Lakers being not good is also fun for the NBA!
Lindsay Whalen and........uh.............possibly Maya Moore?
If the Wolves trade anything other than Adreian Payne for Rose, I’m fucking done with this franchise.
That’s probably fair. Additionally, my critique of her exaggerating was unfairly dismissive of her complaint. It’s easy to think “look at this poor, oppressed, heterosexual person” and make fun of it, but if she’s in the out-group in a extremely competitive workplace, I’m not that shocked if she was singled out for…
Google wouldn’t immediately vomit this answer at me, and I don’t feel like putting in the effort, so...42?
12 teams, 12 players, so 144 total athletes. 2% of 144 is 3.
Dell Demps’s taking candy from a baby game is really on point!
If the Wolves buy at the trade deadline I’m going to be very worried about that front office. They suck, and they don’t have assets to burn trying to suck slightly less.
