Y’know, it’s funny: my wife grew up watching a TON of Sailor Moon, while also loving the Disney films. It didn’t seem to stop her one bit. I get that we should think about the effects that media has on our kids, but a lot of this hand wringing is just a bit much.
The plot was totally unbalanced, a lot of the jokes fell flat, there was a totally shoe-horned romance that made everyone uncomfortable, and a lot of the action was dreary. Plus too many characters. :/ It was a mess. Sorry, gotta disagree with you.
