Obviously, I disagree. The BL pilot was by far better than any ep of AoS so far, which is just my opinion, of course, but the current ratings are bearing out in favor of BL, too.

I would add Blacklist to that list as well, although I guess its scifi cred is a little dubious. Still, it's a spy/government agency show with smart arc work that managed to hook me from the pilot, unlike AoS which has been a trying task to sit through for the last three weeks. Blacklist is doing better in the ratings

I recently read finished a new history of Carthage and I totally understand that foreboding feeling you get when you know the history is about to take a bad turn. :(

When I get S1 on DVD, I will totally watch but when my DVR crapped out, I lost all my eps! It was a tragedy, let me tell you.

So excited that Arrow starts back next week, I can't wait. I even watched the clipshow recap on Wednesday because I've missed it so much. I'm also very happy to hear about Sleepy Hollow, it has been my favorite thing so far this season.

Maybe my disappointment and honest bafflement makes me angrier-sounding than usual but deciding to have two mediocre episodes start off a new show smacks of laziness and trading on the audience's goodwill in a way I find insulting. I was as excited as anyone else when I heard we were getting Coulson in a Marvel TV

H5o just got moved to Fridays, so we'll see how long it lasts....which I know because, hey, I'm not against cheesy dramas. (I watch OUAT, too.) If there was one thing working on AoS, I probably wouldn't be so down on it but, imo, it has nothing going for it except its MCU affiliation and I'm not going to watch on that

Other than wanting to see a Marvel TV show that's worth my time to watch, I don't have a "fucking agenda" but if that's considered an agenda, then I will cop to having one. I have actually watched every thing Whedon has done too and I've paid my money to sit through all the MCU movies and I read Marvel comics so I'm

I love every single person who is defending MoS in the comments. Just sayin'

I honestly think people like the show they're seeing in their heads instead of the one on the screen. Which I understand because the Marvel show in my head is awesome. But that's not what we're getting. We're getting a subpar product that is floating on the good graces of movie fans and Whedonites. I think the idea of

I'm starting to think they're trying to be bad on purpose because why else would this show be so bad? Because it is. It's cliched, clunky, the actors have zero chemistry and none of the characters are very likable. I get that people love it because they love Whedon or MCU or Coulson or whatever, but to try and say

Yes, ugh, Keller. Between Weir being written out and Keller coming on, I said goodbye to SGA forever. Just too much horribleness to take at once.

And, well, she kind of helped Hope destroy it at the end of AvX, so that's not even a given! (Although Tony gets that blame too, haha)

Poor Wanda, what hasn't she been blamed for in the last decade of Marvel comics?

I totally agree about the color. Those Popsicle-blue candles and all that mustard-colored-everything is pretty hideous. ;)

Bummer. I watched them all on disc back before streaming wasn't a thing. I got into it when Syfy (back when it was SCI FI) used to show it in the mornings and then abruptly stopped. Obviously, I'm a huge fan, my little icon on here is of Victoria Winters. :)

I just remember thinking, "wow, this is dumb" when I watched it the first time. Although I thought that about a lot of SG-1 eps, no matter how much I loved the show.

Streaming or discs? They should have all the discs but I know I'm one of the few people who still have a DVD plan. Dark Shadows is actually why I got Netflix in the first place, many, many years ago.

The trial scene in the original Dark Shadows were they find Victoria Winters guilty of witchcraft is pretty horrible, too. It's only made up for because Peter Bradford is my favorite DS character.
