Thanks! I totally didn't see it there since it was very different from TNG and aired in the 2000s, not the 1990s.

Yeah, yeah, no one loves Andromeda but me, I know. But Andromeda actually had a lot of the same themes as say, Firefly, but actually lasted more than a season. And they even aired concurrently since Andromeda ran from 2000-2005. And its backstage drama is as much of a space opera as the show itself.

What does Andromeda have to do to get a mention in one of these discussions?!

I watched a lot of these in first run and a lot more that I wished would've made it. I'm not sure if they were all ahead of their time but "Prey" from ABC (1997ish) was basically a non-superpower version of X-Men where a new species of human are secretly trying to bring down the homo sapiens and one human scientist

IKR? So excited for tomorrow's ep!

A profile like this would've gotten me hired a lot faster at the job I have now and saved me a lot of questions about my ability to withstand exposure to adult material, lol.

I think the last ep I watched more than a few minutes of was the one was the last Bobby one.

I believe the point was that I had written this entire season off as a waste of time and brain cells until I saw that Misha/Castiel was coming back. I thought my point was pretty clear!

I think the (s) on relationships imply they are on the cusp of two different ones ;)

The amount of time I've spent rewatching that SPN promo is about twice the amount of time I've spent watching any of this season.

+1 ;)

I've been 1000+ of those 1200+ eps and yes, you said it. I am horrified by this. So much nerd rage!!!

+1. I am so sure I'm going to hate this thing.

That sounds like the original soap, too, so who knows? I've been following its development closely, mostly because I'm a Dark Shadows nerd. (Why, yes, my avatar on io9 is the original Victoria Winters.)

I gotta admit, I agree with Meredith. I cannot wait to watch this. XD

He grew up in my hometown and even went to my high school. (Charlotte NC) When I hear him talk on-screen, there is no amount of squee I can contain, I have to admit.

He along with Lara Parker, David Selby, and the actress who played Maggie (who name escapes me) all flew over and shot cameos.

Dark Shadows: I see David Selby (original Quentin Collins) standing in the background of the MP/Elizabeth Stoddard pic!

Yeah I mean, would they actually name a random character Quentin? HONESTLY? When he's like the #2 lead behind Barnabas? And I've heard nothing about him being involved at all as a character...
