I've never been a big movie goer, not since I got out of the age where my dad was desperate to find a way to entertain me and my sister during his custody days in which he didn't actually have to interact with us. Now, I average about 2-3 movies in theaters and that's pushing it. In 2007, the only movie I saw in

@Lauren713: I now demand this! If I can't get that, at least throw some glasses on him and use some butterflies in the background!

I fear you may be correct, which is why I'm going for free. At least then, I've only lost a few hours of my life and not $15 on top of that.

Hmm, I'm torn about the Dark Shadows casting spoilers. Haley certainly has the look of a Willie Loomis, and I think he's a good actor, so that's a plus. However, I know nothing about Bella Heathcote and she doesn't have the look I'd expect for Vicki Winters. Since Victoria is one of my favorite characters from the

I have tickets for a free sneak peek of this film for this Saturday. I can't decide if it looks horrible or just horribly cute!

@BytheSea: Sadly, AJ was mostly a fuckup who did bad shit (like drink and drive and cause his brother permanent brain damage) who segued into being a 'villain' in that he did a lot of shady shit. Finally, they killed him off rather violently in the end.

@I-forget-what-8-was-for: Actually, Michael's dad was AJ Quartermaine who had a one-off with Carly a billion years ago. She then tried to pass the child off as Jason's so AJ wouldn't take custody of him. However, Carly pissed off Robin (who was dating Jason at the time) who told everyone the truth and then flounced

Knowing is the only Nic Cage movie I've regretted paying money to see. Considering how low that sets the bar, THAT MOVIE IS JUST THAT AWFUL.

@bangers: Yeah, I think it's a matter of taste and of knowing your recipient. My mom would flip over a bread machine or a fancy Keurig coffee pot (did flip, actually, as these have both been bought for her) but her sister would gut her husband if an anniversary didn't involve jewelry.

@Apricot_Poodle: Indeed! This is the first place I ever saw him. He played young Herc on a spinoff show!

@Krishtina Ceven: The law exempts certain kinds of rape (as non-forcible, I guess?) such as being drugged and then raped, statutory rape and rape in the cases of diminished capacity. These would not count as rape under this law.

@Mr_Academic: I was thinking Supernatural, but with sisters instead of brothers.

@BringerofthePain: Hawaii Five-O is surprisingly awesome and I hate remakes. Maybe this will be awesome, too, though I doubt it.

@hdgotham: I am not intrigued by this movie! I'm gonna try and track it down.

That old pic of Ryan Gosling looks like it was back when he was a tween idol for his role on 'Young Hercules'

When I dressed like this as a pre-teen, it was Little House on the Prairie chic. No eye patches around but a lot of sprigged cotton skirts, button-up blouses, granny boots and funny hats.

Diddy on Five-0? Didn't realize that was the kind of bookings Danno did, but whatever!

I have to admit I'm a little annoyed at some of the comments laughing off the idea of abstinence in college because some of us were abstinent in college ON PURPOSE and for not reasons that having anything to do with wacky religious values. Not everyone is lying or defining sex in some narrow fashion to cling to the

Wow, Chuck, that's a lot of "Caucasian" on that casting call. There are POC who live in those countries and speak those languages too, you know!

@BringerofthePain: There is also theories that ergot poisoning is the basis for stories about werewolves in medieval France. I don't have a link, I think I saw it on PBS on "Secrets of the Dead."
