I'm pretty hardcore. My favorite graphic novel ever is probably Jimmy Corrigan; right now I'm digging Saga, Lazarus, and Silver Surfer (off the top of my head)as ongoing series.

I like Steve Lieber's work. I used to like Terry Moore (Echo is really great) but his obsession with the female form creeps me out a bit.

I'd disagree about French Stewart ruining the show. His character was an oblivious slapstick weirdo to balance out the calculated hilarity of Lithgow and Curtin. He was the id to the ego of Lithgow, a curious kid trapped inside a man's body. And how could you not love the turkey sex scene between he and Vickie Dubcek?

Readers will probably vote hot pockets the winner. I hate next year's bracket already.

That's blasphemous; nothing's prettier than Venture Bros.

It's his most complete album, but I find it kinda boring in some parts. Hip Hop, Ms. Fat Booty, Umi Says, Brooklyn, Mathematics and Mr. N*gga are all great tracks, the rest are pretty meh to me.

To add to this, another problem with covering hockey is that I'm the main nights/weekends writer with Burke now, not Sean. I like and know basketball the best, whereas Sean had a greater interest (than me, at least) in hockey, and those two sports are often competing directly for coverage. I do of course keep an eye

I'm a lot more appreciative of good pop music than I used to be. I'm done being self-conscious about liking "Domino" and shit.

Here's the problem with covering hockey as a pan-sport website with a very small staff:

Pop as a genre is way too broad right now since there isn't much a difference in sound between other traditional genres.

Anyone who is still pretending this is A)insecure about their own tastes, and B)probably listening to music for the wrong reasons.

Top 40 music is generally appalling garbage, as has always been the case, and there's some pretty good and occasionally amazing stuff, as has always been the case. If the people you're paying attention to are saying something else you could maybe pay attention to other people.

Uptown Funk is good, most of the rest is awful.

TAMU is one of those schools where the math is actually entirely the other direction. "I pay your tuition". No, football paid for your computer science building. But whatever asshole from suburban Houston

they keep those "other" people over at Prairie View A&M.

do you mean a collage of college Republicans?

I think that's kind of a chicken or an egg question though. Sherman is a smart guy with strong, well thought out opinions, so he's more likely to get asked a broader range of questions because the reporters know that he'll give them a good quote to write about, so then they ask him more questions...

Interesting, thoughtful comments from both players.

Absolutely agreed on Stewart as compared to Lithgow. Lithgow playing it broad is like watching a virtuoso of mugging (there's a bit involving his frustrations with a copier that I can never think about without cracking up). Stewart is just mugging.

I'm really sick of these thugs and the constant attention they get on this website. Can we go a couple of weeks without mentioning the NCAA?
