TFA will never be beaten by this next crop of films because they don’t have that “First Star Wars film since X” kind of hype behind them. It’s so good... you’d think that BOTH mockumentary and vampire tropes have been too worn out to provide anything new, but the comedy felt really fresh to me. It hit that FOTC-style sweet spot of deadpan wit and emotional warmth.

I usually bounce back and forth between Netflix and Prime every few months, so this is good timing to switch, sounds like.

I’m not sure what possessed me to watch the entire first season, but it was mostly entertaining. Manu Bennett helped a lot. Didn’t even realize they were airing a 2nd season, so I can’t speak to that.
