So totally agree…I've been thinking about this a lot lately, actually.  11 is by far my favorite new-who doctor, and yet his seasons have very few near-perfect episodes. Tennant and Eccelston, however, have a handful of impeccable classics between them (mostly all written by Moffat).

Yup. It made me really happy. As soon as she walked in, I knew she was going to actually be interesting, unlike all the faceless unit drones new-who has been throwing us. She knew her shit, and being Brig's daughter was just icing on the cake

I know, right? I was all excited for the weeping angels and then SHE has to come back, damn it!

same here. i knew she wasn't going to be a throwaway UNIT character that never came back, because she was just too awesome. But I wasn't expecting that, especially since a lot of new-who viewers might not even know who the Brig is. She kinda looks like him too, so it was perfect!

NO.

NO.

agreed…this season has been an absolute joy so far. No standout A episodes yet for me, but no stinkers either. And the stories have mostly felt really fresh and original.

yep…and honestly, i'm not sure which is better. wish there was some kind of middle ground….though the RTD era did a better job of pacing on the whole than the Moffat era. (while doing many other things much worse)

im thinking (hoping) that the shakri will be back… seems like a cool concept to waste on a one-off episode

yep..A- episode for me, only because all the doctor had to do was show up on  the spaceship, listen to a hologram drone for a few minutes, and then problem solved!

I know, right? Where is the comment thread parodying this ridiculously shitty title?
