that's an interesting post, but i'm not sure i buy any of the moral categories he uses. especially people who didn't pay for In Rainbows, when it was a perfectly valid option, for fuck's sake.

I was thinking the same, having just re-watched the Eccelston season. But the only thing people remember about the Slitheen episodes is the farting. Plus Boom Town made them even stupider by having her masterplan be to blow up the earth and ride out of the explosion on a surf board. seriously.

VoV gets trashed a lot, but I love it. Not for the actual story, which admittedly is terrible. But for the awesome re-intro to Rory (complete with amy shirt!) and some good one liners

actually the scene in the church (aside from the stupid girl/books) was one of the parts I liked… the cyborg made his big threat that he would kill everyone in town, and when he finally had an easy chance to take them all out in one room, he couldn't do it.

i think a lot of the moral dilemmas this week seemed to build off the near-execution of Solomon last week. maybe it was just lucky ordering.
