I wasn’t convinced Agatha was in control of what happened with the coven. It seemed like a counter-reaction.

Because what, in actuality, has she done so far besides enable Wanda? If she destroys the twins or takes off with them then that’s another story, but the latter can be resolved in another film and Agatha can be put in her place and then cleaned up a bit. And as for the worst case option (killing or destroying the kids)…
Agreed. Agatha seems morally gray and too inquisitive. I also don’t think Marvel is in any hurry to say goodbye to Kathryn Hahn (and who would be?). If it’s true this show leads directly into Doctor Strange 2, I can see her being in that. Agatha in the comics has always been complicated; this character can be redeemed…
I love a lot of movies that are a riot of colors and styles. BoP just didn’t work for me, period. I didn’t feel there was any substance and I didn’t buy into the ‘family’ at all. I think the only DCU movie that fully works is Shazam.
I’d love to see that documented. Knowing WB/DC I’m sure it’s likely. Nonetheless, I’ve never subscribed to the push insisting that BoP was some watershed film for comic book cinema and excellent. It’s just not very good, period, on any level IMO.
tbh the costumes in BoP look CW-level to me. Particularly what they did to Black Canary and Huntress. It’s just like ‘we’re embarrassed by these characters and this is a Harley Quinn movie so fuck it’
As a queer person and understanding the corrupted, corporatist aesthetic the world of CP2077 is supposed to present, I think it only makes sense that world’s advertising would fetishize trans lives for the sake of making a buck. That’s an aspect of the fictional world, that’s worldbuilding. Is it there to be presented…
Apparently remaking the Voodoo Boys in this way was Pondsmith’s idea.
The first two are good. The others are passable at best because Lin Shaye is so lovely in her role and carries the franchise.
And yet they remain wildly successful! Crazy right
Zack has detested this series and all things new Trek since the recent CBS All Access launch. I don’t take him seriously.
Or saying “bUT wHaT aBoUt lAdY In kNiVeS oUt??!!”
That’s not what that page is strictly for, as X-Men #1 demonstrates. He is also clearly not on the team in any and all advance PR and interviews.
Wolverine is not on the team. That’s been made clear in literally every interview and solicit talking about the roster. Google ‘em.
Probably.
They both stole it.
I think it’s both. The wife is an extension of the mother complex, but that does not preclude him being closeted or asexual. The Richie/Eddie relationship always read as bordering on loving to me in that way. And the virgin aspect with the very fey Dennis Christopher in the miniseries takes it further into a coded…
I grew up with the book and I absolutely think the Richie/Eddie relationship always read gay.
This is why I can’t with most AVC critics these days. “The Will Graham type,” Katie? They’re based on the same guy and this is about the development of that unit!
I have always and only ever heard Magneto as the great David Warner, since my days starting out with the books in the late ‘80s/early ‘90s.
