That's the idea.
That's the idea.
The book is a very difficult read but very good.
You sure are.
It's excellent.
The book is harrowing shit. And very good.
H20 and H4 are fine. H5 has a few moments amidst the dreadful dross. H6 had a couple decent ideas mostly mangled, both in the Producer's Cut and the script.
I think the only way to quietly incorporate the stuff from 6 is to laugh off the cult but indicate that if the Shape believes in some of these things (a la those runes from the Producer's Cut, etc.) then they can affect him. Leave it ambiguous but add a note of mysticism a la Jacques Tourneur/Val Lewton.
The original draft also had a much bigger budget and ran over two hours.
There isn't really much backlash to ST anywhere but here. AVC loves to pretend it's Different.
It was never pitched as that. Irate fans on the Internet simply insisted it had to be that and acted shocked and annoyed when they learned the truth.
It's not so often derided as that. It's occasionally derided as that because any type of nostalgia makes a certain subset of people feel deeply insecure and full of need to tout their creative bonafides.
Weed
One of the worst movies I've ever paid to see.
Same. When the news would show something about the Middle East I often asked my mother "what are those lesbians doing now?"
Yeah. AVC is thinking like a twee humor site.
Oh God. No.
That's the point of most articles these days.
The A.V. Club is trying so hard to think about precious, witty comedy, and that's not Trump. Trump doesn't do subtlety.
Exactly.
Wrong. Trump has never and will never, ever get over Rosie O'Donnell. Next bad take.
