Wingard and Mike Flanagan would've been great choices, but Gordon Green is very talented. And McBride is apparently a huge horror buff. I'm open to this.

I don't see MIKE throwing the ring in there so Laura would die. He threw it in there to give her the option to save her soul from BOB.
