Wingard and Mike Flanagan would've been great choices, but Gordon Green is very talented. And McBride is apparently a huge horror buff. I'm open to this.

Fucking love that they're going full-on for a cheesy 80s pet like Mac and Me or Flight of the Navigator
Lot of people leaving the director's name on the table, huh
I don't take that line in the script the way some people do. I think it's a reach influenced by a need for confirmation bias of a theory. The Lodge spirits do weird shit and laugh at weird stuff on a good day.
I don't see it.
Lynch loved those elements. He also loved the happy side of Twin Peaks and the silly humor. He loved darkness and lightness in equal measure.
Uh, I think that is theory at best and debatable. I've heard that claim before and I don't agree with it. The Little Man is the arm, but MIKE can still have renounced him. I don't see MIKE throwing the ring in there so Laura would die. He threw it in there to give her the option to save her soul from BOB.
More than characters.
It's fantastic.
There's a difference between clever and smart.
It's a (ludicrous) mistake by the writer.
Uh, pretty sure it's Boyd. Passable white guy star Boyd Holbrook. Not 91-year-old thespian Hal Holbrook who we all prefer.
like I said it gr8 bruh
Miami Vice gr8 bruh
I do, for reasons. I remember hearing something about that years ago.

According to an EW interview, yes.
Seems like it's gonna happen: http://ew.com/movies/2017/0…
It's been hard sitting on this for a few months. Pretty pumped.
Thank God he was able to finish Twin Peaks. Incredible performer. RIP.
