I’m biased here because I like Warren, but her answers seemed pretty appropriate for someone running for President. Any Senator would have Cummings pop into their heads, and she can’t say Booker, Harris, or even Pressley in the middle of a campaign.

The Angela Rye one wasn’t entirely fair as she didn’t want to name anyone in elected office (or running for president currently). Also, she named two and Angela Rye proceeded to move on, she didn’t just stop (even though she was rambling).

Eh... I don’t know. While I don’t think it’s a “gotcha” question, I do think that it is a question that involves some thought. I think I would have been more offended if her pat response was MLK Jr. or Jesse Jackson or some shit like that because they are names that are low hanging fruit, so to speak. I think her

Why is the story headlined “Elizabeth Warren Had A Hard Time Naming Prominent Black People” when the body of the text is about Elizabeth Warren naming prominent black people? Are you suggesting Elijah Cummings, Deval Patrick, and Melody Barnes don’t count?

Already there’s racist greys showing their asses. Apparently, Black people showing the appropriate emotion after being harmed makes us unworthy of humanity. This coming from the same people who will gleefully watch a French Canadian beat the brakes off of an Eastern European during an NHL hockey game for accidentally t

Rules of Blackness
Don’t make noise, don’t frown or grimace, don’t cry, don’t breathe, and don’t forget to tip toe around those who enjoy the luxury afforded them by the absence of color.

“A casual stroll through the responses to Pressley’s endorsement video shows a lot of Sanders supporters criticizing her choice,”

This is that one dude who pops up every few months to bitch about “art majors.” I mean, if homeboy’s that eager to broadcast that he got cucked by a humanities major, I suppose there are incrementally *less* pathetic activities. Not many, mind you, but some!

Anybody talking about “likability” in the context of an actual white supremacist can log right off, personally

Congratulations. In first AND dumbest comment.

I think Warren is among the strongest, although I should probably look at the hypothetical matchup polls first. She’d also be the most likely VP pick if any of the centrists win.

It took me 3 episodes before it occurred to me why the score sounded so much like the American Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.  Duh! I think Reznor may have uses some of the exact same soundscapes it's so similar.

It’s crystal clear that a lot of people that were hating on this from the first couple episodes have not read the comics, maybe saw the movie. But clearly didn’t understand what they were reading/watching. This is tied into the comic and oozing with it out of its DNA. Last nights episode, smartly tied a lot of it

I’m betting senator man is behind the recent 7th attacks

I like how he is strictly limited to the technology and materials of the 1920s to figure out a way to escape his (presumably) high tech prison.

Ok, now I’m REALLY into it, but I have difficulty seeing how someone who is not familiar with the source material might want to continue watching this, because at this point, it’s gotten deep enough into the graphic novel’s lore that it’s beginning to look like you NEED to read the graphic novel to fully appreciate it.

This episode was intense in a way due to Lauries humour and her feelings for the men in her life that she dont quite wear on her sleeve but is bubbling under the surface all the time, for a woman who used half her life coming to terms with her mother, she is now in a pact with the ghosts of her men, using them but not

Ozymandias be like:

Hiring Jean Smart as Laurie Juspeczyk was a, ahem, smart movie. I could listen to her talk on the phone to Dr. Manhattan forever.

It was also interesting hearing that Dan (Owlman) is incarcerated for violating the Keene Act that outlawed superheroes, and that Laurie doing her FBI work is part of some plea deal she arranged.
