I think the Nancy Drew games have the most consistent obsession with depicting food to the point where they include them as part of every game in some manner.
So, who was writing intersectional science fiction in 1986?
The Villainess was very well done and is one of the best homages to La Femme Nikita I’ve seen to date. Anyone who loves action movies or thrillers should definitely give it a watch. The fight/chase scenes were outstanding but that’s a given as Byung-gil Jung directed it (the opening chase scene in Confessions of…
I could kind of understand how he finagled it in the younger pics where he is giving us Reno Raines couture, but when the universe has given us the likes of David Gandy this dude doesn’t even rate.
Missy: Sock it To Me
He was like they are like my family, even though I do have actual family whom I have no desire to cultivate a relationship with but it’s totally their fault because Christmas cards. Also Brad has to be a secret mastermind to have turned his bland CW looks into such a lucrative career.
That is some of the funniest shit I’ve read in a long time. She called him a golden retriever, but the wineglass of diet coke is the line that took me out.
I decided to read it prior to the release. I find the character’s precociousness distracting especially his ridiculous dialogue. I am trying to just accept it so I can move on but if he’s present throughout the book I don’t know if I’ll be able to finish.
Although it didn’t win best picture it did garner an Oscar for best adapted screenplay. The author of The Exorcist, William Peter Blattey, also wrote the screen play.
Did you skip the scene where he beats the two cops to death and then wears one of their faces or where Clarice is in the killers house while he is wearing night vision goggles.
It was a slog for me too. Remember putting it down at about 30% and finishing it later. The scientific points and the little crumbs aboutbthe main characters past were the only things that interested me.
Read the book some years ago. The plot and introduction of scientific methods, profiling etc is interesting but the author’s writing style\voice is forgetful, the characters are poorly developed if at all, and he treats all the murders like a insect dissection. Overall the book has no heart and I’d only recommend it…
What, it’s completely legit “umph”* is something black people use all the time, in addition to ending our sentences with ellipses instead of periods.
And the Villainess
Show your husband this pic, I can’t guarantee he will not then leave you for Steve Buscemi
I agree the mischaracterized white women will be ok
Can’t take credit it was first coined by Harriot. But I thought it was apropos for this white man’s antics.
I had time. #notallwhitewomen from a man, surely the fall of the patriarchy is nigh😏
Actually our opinions diverge in that you say “many”, and I think the commenters have shown they are smarter than that so its not that serious and those supposedly mis-characterized white women in the minds of “many misled” are going to be okay.
