I had this discussion with a commenter a while back and I’d actually argue the the reverse is true. He started off with the occasional interesting female protagonists (Carrie, firestarter, Dolores Claiborne, Tommy Knockers) and after the 90's they all became wives, girlfriend’s, religious zealots, or sexual partners.

Lol its just old slang that remains perfect in its brevity and specificity, like “dime store” which would also fit.

Exactly she has infinite Hennessy and Moet she is not letting that go.

Unfortunately D.Gray man is still unfinished. They tried to come back to fill in the gaps but they didn’t have the time/money for the number of episodes it would take and it showed.

I watched the first episode. I liked it, but it felt rushed. I still want to see more though.

ETA: If you specifically want to watch a well done comedic anime about psychics Mob Psych-100 is right there.

ETA: I’m surprised production IG would put their name any where near this, I’m thinking it’s because of the deals to bring some of their shows to Netflix.

I agree. Plus the “anime”style is more ubiquitous now (Boondocks, Young Justice, Last Airbender) so I doubt any one who doesn’t watch anime would see it as anything more that just a weird cartoon. Where as those who do watch anime would likely find it lacking (I know I already do). So then the bigger question is, who

Technically no since they are the originating style, but the content of the shows themselves are parodies of their respective genres in that they exaggerate existing tropes for satiric/comedic effect (definition of a parody).

The animation looks bootleg, and the voice acting sounds terrible. Anime parodies itself all the time in much better executed shows: One Punch Man, Air Master, Kill la Kill, School Rumble etc etc. I will be skipping this.

It’s all that “chronic black racism” hard at work, which as you know “far exceeds white racism in this country”

I also noticed they completely got rid of the icon showing how many people commented on an article before you click on it, where as before it would arbitrarily come and go.

So that’s what is going on, I have been pressing pending and refreshing articles thinking there was some kind of error.

I love Jpop/Kpop. I intermittently check out their billboard charts to see what is popular, and it’s always a treat. Also they have a lot of R&B influenced stuff that is missing from the current pop in the US.

So the bar graphs for income hover around 50\50 for all the stratifications, and you think 3-4% differences between Trump\Hillary in that regard is more mathematically significant than the 58% vs 37% of white people depicted, Really?! It’s clear that poorer people voted for , but by a wider margin than white people,

What’s hilarious\sad is one example that came to mind was Salt, which of course was written to be a man.

lol at Yemmy Becky saying Michael hides behind his “racially ambiguous name” when his picture is right there. What exactly is she trying to say though? I think that she really thought you have beef with the name Rebecca, and she is especially mad about it.

Not necessarily, as long as they had the ‘site’ follow you and not just the individual author. I got ungrayed by Mark Shrayber who was ungreying any one who asked on his last day. He was nice, I miss him.

Maybe you need to respond with a link to their saturday night social comments, which I will never forget about, and they will slink back into the greys like they deserve.

Now playing

One could easily turn this into a top 50's/100's list the 90's and 00's were rife with hits that were just churned out and the artists never charted again.
