I’m basically a grump and hate both sides of this story.

Honestly, Wednesday getting any kind of overall nomination is just...I just don’t understand it. The best thing about it was the setting, costuming, etc. So certainly some acclaim there.
Looks like his facial hair DID quit
As much as I complain about being overloaded with open world stuff, I do generally play 2-3 of them per year as part of my “AAA slate.” That’s about all I can take BUT sometimes they do still hit just right.
Great work pointing this out, I wouldn't have known to go back and listen
Hi. First of all, let it be known I love this show and recognize it’s absurd.
Second of all - why are we focused on trying to hide vampirism if we’re doing an entire documentary, that I assume is going to be released somewhere, about vampires?
I do like that they play up the documentary format for laughs but I’m like,…
I enjoyed the movie and I actually thought it did (but only briefly) some VERY fun multiverse stuff in comparison to EEAAO, which was basically hotdog hands, ratatouille, and rocks. EEAAO just had more heart because of COURSE IT FUCKING DID.
Dude, you have a massive hate-on for that film and it’s kinda weird.
The fact that the first Superman villain we saw under Snyder was Zod, which is just...Superman, only bad, was such a terrible choice. If you have two entities like that next to each other, they don’t look distinct and we don’t really get a sense of who Superman is, especially power-level (or however you want to…
They’re pulling a Motion Twin and just updating the hell out of this indie game, and I love it.
Seriously, fuck the Emmys
I subscribe to your newsletter and I’m ready to burn the place down. Rez Dogs not getting ANY nominations is just insane.
Where the fuck is Sarah Goldberg from Barry?
Also as much as I love White Lotus and Succession, it’s kinda a travesty they can just fucking run an entire category. Boring.
I remember watching Onward and kinda just wishing Pixar got a license to make an actual D&D movie. They’re very, very committed to “What if X but with a little twist” and it gets exhausting. I get that it’s part of their dynamic from day one (what if toys could talk) but, like...there’s nothing wrong with doing…
Networking event.
That’s too bad, was hoping it’d make a step up from the first season (which had some great moments but also had the issue of being hit or miss, a side effect of going on a bit too long, which is exacerbated here).
I know you want to show off your stellar cast but I’d do, like, 4-6 episodes per season and make sure each…
Maybe, but we don’t want to give away the big reveal that the true villain is (rustles papers, coughs) a lack of infrastructure spending.
This article is probably a bit unfair to Pixar, who I would say still does a ton of work in character design, aesthetic, attention to detail...everything we want. Elemental seems more of an issue with the fact that someone greenlit yet another story of “What if X was actually a bureaucracy” or something, and the…
Yup - Gemstones definitely knows how to pace and frame. That scene went against the overall grain of the episode in all the right ways.
I’m very, very down for Deadpool jumping around to some of the pre-MCU clunkers. I think that’d be great.
