Yuppers to all of this. The gameplay could have been fun but it was just wayyyy too much of a grind. Grinds need to be fun and have you WANT to play the game over and over (hell, it’s the whole point of roguelikes) and DD was never quite there. Very excited for DD2 though!

I love Beetlejuice more than most people. I obsessively watched the movie as a kid, and remember bonding with my mom dancing to the songs, reciting the lines, etc. I watched the cartoon series multiple times. I managed to get to NYC to see the second-to-last broadway show, complete with the OG Beetlejuice actor coming…

This is one of my favorite current shows - so happy it got another season and can’t wait to dive in. It does suck to hear that Orlo is under-used again, though.
