I think in real life they were married for 16 years, and he was only emperor for the last 6 months before she deposed him. And he also didn’t speak a lick of Russian, being Germanic like Catherine. The show can safely do whatever they want as history is out the window. I think I’ve read other places it is only loosely

No Hot Lead and Cold Feet so they can forget it.

I like that they included the generic Camera Repair. At least where I lived there were some Mom & Pop places that made it off Main Street and went to the mall, but they stuck out like a sore thumb amongst all the branded national stores. They were always off in a corner no one went down. Maybe rent is cheaper on the

When I saw the article I couldn’t remember any but reading through now everyone has jolted my repressed childhood memories. For me it was the library ghost in Ghostbusters, Large Marge in Pee Wee, The face in The Ring, and Blair Witch.

This movie is weird to me because it does feel like real teens but they are populating what feels like an unreal world of perfection. I live by the high school they used in the movie but it even seems like an alternate, shiny version of itself.

Soundhound has changed my life standing around waiting for my wife while shopping or when a great song plays on a commercial. Gone are the days of keeping a running list of half-heard lyrics and taking a stab at random google searches.

Post-Ghostbusters: Answer the Call, doesn’t “for the fans” equal man-children?

It reminded me of something off of Disneyland’s Main Street - the happiest place on earth.

This is a good character and super-power set for DC to take a stab at a computer animated film like Gru and Minions but with a little more innuendo, if they want to keep things light. It opens up a world of possibilities of the things Plastic Man can transform into without having to also walk a fine line of “realism”.

They were so forward thinking they put Tom Brady on the album cover, and he was only 1 year old at the time.

As others have said, “The Matchmaker” episode is laugh out loud funny.

Now playing

Paul Williams + Dexter’s Lab - Breathe in the Sunshine. This was a major miss on the list.

Weird - I just got a hit

Don’t know where you are but maybe its a Northeast/Mid-Atlantic thing. I know a ton of Jewish/Catholic families. And I agree - there’s a difference in religion but sameness in character.

The movie is a celebration of fandom and Spielberg takes the opportunity to work in his own professed Kubrick fandom. He took on A.I., Kubrick’s working project at the time of death, and now this amazing Shining scene.

The author takes a jab at “bad writing”, because criticism reasons. Would that the Federation came out of the womb fully formed, all peaceful and ready for exploration and science. It seemed pretty clear in the pilot the Federation wasn’t there yet and that’s what this show is about. But the author makes frustrated

They missed an opportunity to punch up the soundtrack with “I Loves You Porg-y”

Forgot about minis. I left SC 14 yrs ago but if its still a thing, minis were because there was a law against straight/long pour. Was actually kind of a good idea because there was consistency - bartenders knew certain mixed drinks or a mixed pitcher would require x-amount of minis and you watched them pour the whole

What does Star Trek feel like then? I want to better understand what you’re not feeling by knowing what you want to feel. I’m not trying to be snarky, I like this show and it seems perfectly Star Trek to me so just curious.

We should leave the First Classy Broad alone.
