Somehow my second favourite Linda moment of this ep (after Linda wine-ing on the couch) was when she went full-on mom, put her foot down and took the kids inside. Super-relatable to my own parental dynamic and somehow very grounding after all the hijinks and chaos preceding it.

Yeah I really wanted Bob to get a win just this ONE time, because pretty much every previous Thanksgiving episode has put him through the wringer. I felt truly bummed when it looked like the turkey was ruined, and I was delighted when the family got to enjoy it anyway. Once in a blue moon, the gods smile even on Bob

I was way more invested than I expected in Bob getting a win at the end.  And everyone getting turkey.

The cut to Linda on the bed hit really close to home.  I’ve tried going konmari but it takes me half an hour to work through the nostalgia associated with any given object I own and I don’t even have kids.

We Canadians did Thanksgiving over a month ago, but I’m thankful for Bob’s “Independence Day” rant.  Also aren’t all kids around Louise’s age pyromaniacs given half the chance?

Seriously, Linda on the bed distractedly surrounded by old crafts and memories is the Realest Mom moment I’ve seen on TV in a while.

The way Jon Benjamin delivered “Riverbrook Lake Farms heritage turkey” was funny everytime

One of the best Thanksgiving-themed episodes of Bob’s Burgers I’ve seen, which is something given their reliability. Too many highlights to mention, but my favorite image is for all of the chaos Bob reigned down on his family, seeing an unphased Linda on the couch casually drinking a glass of wine throughout it all.

She and Tina tie for most relatable subplot. The thankful trees my siblings made in Sunday school still adorn our Thanksgiving table over a decade later.

He got part of a gigantic Equestranauts tattoo when he went undercover at Equestra Con for Tina.

It wasn’t until I saw it written out that I fully appreciated the name Riverbrook Lake Farms.

The ending got me. I was about to be pretty upset that Bob’s turkey was ruined and how he never gets a win but then he discovers the deliciousness just below the burnt skin. Bob deserved that win

“Get out of there! Get out of my friend and go back to hell!!”

It’s absurd to me how good of a show this is.  It has no right to be as hilarious and adorable all at the same time.

Eh.  They’ve held people in the pipeline longer than that, so it’s not like they don’t have any experience with it.

Killer Frost having a ladies’ night outing with Amunet would seem like a good idea. Also maybe a date with Mick Rory?

Absolutely loved the season opener. Nat is such a joy to have back. This episode had so much heart and I love it when Bob’s brings strangers together to help eachother out. Best show on TV!

They missed a perfect opportunity for an “I love you but you’re all terrible” towards the end there. And an “ow my face!” during Linda’s pinkeye ministrations.

Tina’s fearful moan was warranted this week by Bob’s wrath.

Lots of numbers are divisible by three.
