Loquareeous eats left over spaghetti while watching American Dad. Nice to see a fellow person of culture represented on screen.

How great was it that the flash forward didn’t just include the series regular cast members but also the other Cloud 9 employees who have been part of the show for so long as supporting and guest cast?
I have to say, I came into the finale NOT wanting Jonah and Amy to get back together, but I feel these episodes made a solid case that Jonah and Hannah weren’t going to really work out, and that Jonah and Amy should be together
Mateo: “Must be awful to live under fear of spoilers.”
It sucks that April 9th is currently way too optimistic.
For real, this show is the only thing of 2020 that’s bringing me any joy.
you bastard. i gave you SO MUCH.
Oh, that gore was totally necessary. But I’ve already waxed nostalgic about it in my own comment.
Maybe he obsessively exercised in between. Kind of like a pandemic routine.
I tried to keep up with references but each one was more glorious than the next. I think it’s the way they mix and match them that was hilarious - like Sibyl/Russel story had Electric Dreams, Short Circuit, Weird Science and Little Shop of Horrors with a little bit of Cylons sprinkled on.
Mack’s got better genetics than Thor, I guess.
For real, this show is the only thing of 2020 that's bringing me any joy. Earlier today, a whole personal mess occurred, with a glimmer of potential hope that was quickly snuffed out within ten minutes. This episode took me off a fucking ledge man.
The fun of this episode came from trying to catch all the references to various 80s movies but the heart came from giving Mack 20 months to deal with what happened. He wasn’t alone even though he tried to be. Deke was a friend to both him and the new version of him. And it got better little by little.
Oh how I loved this episode! And I love this season. Every week is a new homage to a different TV era. This week: The Buddy Cop ComicDrama, with the rag tag team, the slasher film tribute, and the very Marty McFly like band. And Max Headroom, and of course, the Thor parallel with Beer Belly Mack.
But no Koenigs running…
I think we’re all pretty much agreed “Self-Control” is the best episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. This episode is just below that. The musical cues, the edits, the cheesy one-liners, the even cheesier practical effects, the many, many, many geeky references (Daleks!), I almost couldn’t believe how much awesome they…
The look on Mack’s face when it dawned on him when they were as he listened to “No More Mr. Nice Guy” was priceless. Wonderful background work by Henry Simmons.
Today on Marvel’s Legends of Yesterday. Still calling it Sousa is Avengers cop.
Poor, poor Enoch.
I am legit thrilled that Sousa is more than just a two-episode cameo! The actor’s so good, and having a new players on the Zepher dealing with all of the show’s craziness is just fertile ground for some fantastic scenes.
Oh man I hope we get to keep Enver Gjokaj as Sousa for a while—his name was in the main title credits at the beginning of the episode I am pretty sure & not just with the guest stars.
Elegant solution to the Sousa dilemma, plus we get to keep Enver Gjokaj around for a while.
