“Moonvasion” is the kind of season finale I like where everybody pitches in & the least essential episodes become relevant. This show continues to give me everything I need out of a reboot.

Louie as Garfield was purrfect.
Lots to like here!
Fuck, that movie was so good. Spinel’s anger was understandable, and the fact that she was basically a 30's cartoon character was really awesome too.
That’s fair! I wonder when they knew they were getting a renewal; it’d be fascinating if Reed had envisioned that ending as a possible series end.
I see what you mean about the montage being a little too long, but it was very nice to see how much the animation has improved since the pilot. Quite a few stand out moments of animation in the montage as well.
It really felt like a goodbye type of montage, though. Like they weren’t sure if this was the end or not at…
I don't follow comic con at all, so the the moment we saw original Lana was pretty shocking to me. I've been enjoying most of this seasons and just accepted Archer as stand alone seasons with similar characters, so the end of this episode really came as a shock to me.
I have never laughed harder at this show than when Flintheart Glomgold came into the funeral wearing his “G G” glasses, dancing, and making it rain while DJ Khaled’s “All I Do Is Win” played.
This episode focused on Scrooge, therefore the episode is awesome.
Paget Brewster is awesome! I particularly loved her on Community and Andy Richter Controls the Universe but she is reliably great. She sounds perfect for this role, with her grit but also being hilarious.
He was also in the US version of Sirens, which I really liked for its short 2 seasons. I was hesitant on his bit at first but I ended up liking it mostly because of how Stephanie and Andy were interacting with him. I’d like to see him recur a la the Vulture.
It actually really was a solid locked room mystery! (the best kind of golden age mystery)
Agreed with Rosa crying; though, didn’t she do that in an earlier episode this season?
I don’t know - he seems like the type to stop listening to any detail once he learned that they were about elves and hobbits.
That unexpected Tangled joke made me cry laughing, as did almost Jake standing over Amy with a knife.
Soon as I saw this episode was going to be a Rosa and Jake episode, I was excited. I love their friendship so much. And man this one delivered and then some. My heart broke a little when Rosa admitted her mom hadn’t talked to her since coming out. So glad to see them starting to reconnect at the end.
Bill Beau-Baggins must be stopped.
Bob’s Burgers usually has stellar Valentine’s Day episodes, but this one was a bit of miss for me. These “the kids tell three ridiculous stories” episodes are also usually pretty good, but this one (though it had a few solid jokes) was sort of one-note and felt like it just beat the same gag into the ground and dragged…
Interesting that this got such a high grade, because this was the first BB episode that did not click for me in a long time. I usually adore the Valentine episodes, and the episodes where the kids tell stories. Heck, I even adore London-I met my wife there! But for some reason I was really bored by this episode.
I agree. I really wanted to love it but I had a hard time feeling invested. Giving it a second watch this morning.
