I think that holds true for women who don’t suffer from the hallmarks of aging — thickening/loss of waist, hair loss, spots, and wrinkles. And if you were fat to begin with (as I was), you can forget it. I’m basically seen as a smartly dressed mammy type now, and it hurts, man.

I was really, REALLY glad to see that too. I’m struggling — more than I ever thought I would — with the loss of beauty and presence as I age, and it was a comfort to see this.
