Wow. Is bringing kids on dates a thing now? When did this start?!

Yes to all of this. Nobody wants or needs to experience my spawn being All The Way Three in public just because she exists. I have politely apologized (in advance) to other diners in family restaurants (during daylight hours!) because I hold this sacred. We stick to family places with the kid, and try not to stay past…
Start simple — everyone likes compliments and hearing how they make his/her partner feel. IIRC there are a couple of ‘how to talk dirty’ guides on GWA too.
hello fellow lurker! It is definitely the least creepy of the gw subreddits. As hokey as it sounds, it really is the community-type feel that makes it seem so. It’s lovely that this outlet is there for those of us who prefer to express ourselves aurally.
except for the one that actually stole the photo...
Let’s leave cheezits out of this, okay? Snacks had *nothing* to do with this abomination.
YES. I have Texas Pete at my desk. that little bottle? Drawer/purse sized for your convenience. Everybody knows that.
This year I suggested we go out for wings because ‘it’ll be less crowded’ and ‘we’re past all this romantic BS anyway’. I’m not sure if i’m more pleased at being right that he would be relieved, or disappointed that he was so very relieved. Oh well.
damn. So white people just getting any old damn thing made into a movie now, huh?
it’s great — if only the bag$ weren’t so expensive!

I can’t even imagine what that *looks* like in my life as it is. Wow.
I’m not even surprised by this.
Well, Kinda? but I was hoping for something along the lines of The Thomas Crowne Affair or Under the Tuscan Sun.
“Love comes from how we feel when we’re with people” — I’m so using this. I wish someone had told me this!
Can you imagine a coming-of-age black debutante movie!? Or a makeover (devil-wears-prada-style) movie about a grad student doing research in Atlanta or Chicago? Or a steamy love story about a woman traveling and finding herself (and several pretty beaus along the way?)
Belle was very good. I could watch Gugu Mbatha-Raw all day.
or Last Holiday! I *LOVE* that movie! Or Something New!
God yes. I remember crying in Motherhood maternity when the last pair of $45 plus size jeans fit horribly. There was NOTHING that looked decent on me, except maybe one pre-pregnancy maxidress and a couple of target maternity t shirts. I spent the last weeks at home in tank tops and underwear.
Once again, Papa Pope is right...
