I love being a Pats fan and just denying everything. People go crazy. Their reaction is worse than when I argue the government blew the WTC . I believe we all have a vicious asshole inside, can’t find a better situation to release it than in something as stupid as sports. Otherwise, you end up with ISIS.
This is what happens with media framing. If Carolina had the exact same team with the exact sam record, with the exception of having a media friendly QB (aka white Qb), the Panthers would be the talk of the NFL. Instead, the Panthers are ignored because media framing was used. Sad.
