SO WELL PLAYED
This is beautiful.
"First, let me say, people today love being offended. I think it's a symptom of social media and the feeling of self importance it enables." She adds, "I've had the good fortune to go to Bali multiples times and I can tell you this is exactly what you'd find there."
i totally see the jewelry aspect but what i found so weird about that comment is that — do people wear wooden crosses around their neck? i was thinking more like, wall decorations. and i can't imagine a diamond cross on the wall and i'm from TX which seems like prime diamond wall cross territory.
i agree
KERRY I DOUBLE DOG DARE YOU TO BE UGLY FOR ONE SECOND
Am I the only one who read that as:
I think there are a LOT of people like this guy. We just never hear about them unless something this big happens. But people reach out and help each other in so many different ways, every day.
Fuck him for real.
Matt, quit making burners to post about how hot you are. We've discussed this.
Also, the Cosby Show is HER acting legacy (and every other actor on that show). I'm sure it hurts like hell to have such a wonderful place in tv history tarnished by Bill's scandal.
I do raise my eyebrows at "that shouldn't detract from the good he's done" but that argument can be applied to many people a lot of different ways.
Perfectly stated. This is a case of cognitive dissonance. These women all worked with Bill Cosby and he was by all accounts just as delightful in person as he was on the TV show. But that has no bearing on what "The Cos" did on the road and in other areas of his life and at other times in his life.
Methinks someone who has been reliant on the money that the Cosby Show, as a classic TV show that is still syndicated, still probably brings in is not happy to see that income slow down.
Whenever people start imagining conspiracies that are so unwieldy that they beggar the imagination, I wonder if they've ever heard of Ockham's Razor.
I think it's the unfortunate, standard belief. He was respectful and nice to her, so obviously he must be the same with everyone else.
The fact that she's arguing that we should forget these real women and remember the fictional Cosby family is just amazing. Amazing. Phylicia, you have entered the realm of the surreal.
I was waiting to hear her response to this mess and I am so profoundly disappointed. I loved her so much as a child (she reminds me so much of my mother and aunts). Some part of me felt that she might have been attacked too and would put the final nail in his coffin, but here we have this fucking nonsense.
BYE PHYLICIA.
