Yeah. I let it get just a bit too long for the first time last week, and I did get a lot of rolling. Had to do a lot more clean-up afterwards with the weed wacker (electric of course :p ). I won’t mind using it a bit more often though in exchange for not dealing with the racket and finishing the job smelling of fumes!
I’ve found it only struggles on pretty sizeable sticks, but I’m also less than one year into it and truly do have a small lot! We’ll see how I feel after we have some storms that leave more debris.
Unless you’re like me, with my hippy-dippy reel mower! I strongly recommend one for people with small lots- it’s quiet, essentially no maintenance, easier to use, no gas to worry about, and not too much work for a small area. I love it!
It’s hard to help or protect your family when you’re dead because you jumped on the hood of a car.

You just attempted to quantify the waste, not refute it.
Do you think the result would have been different if you put a 500 lb weight in the trunk of the ‘98?

I suppose that if you’re a sociopath, indeed, you should not give a fuck about a war and the human suffering it would entail.
This post is ridiculous. Unless it continues, this change is almost in the noise.
No, his model is, to make humans an inter-planetary species and thereby reduce the likelihood of a total extinction event.
Which, if you’re elderly and retired, sounds like a terrible idea.
Well, the friggen wheel gets in my way for the speedo and/or tach in most cars (but fortunately not in mine), so for me this would be an upgrade compared to many others.
I did the math on paying off loans based on balance vs. interest. For my loans (which all do indeed have similar interest rates), the difference over the course of a few years was literally a few bucks, under $10. In my case, that’s well worth the psychological benefit.
“For example, he’s not into cutting back on lattes. Instead of being frugal and saving $3 at a time, he argues, you should focus on saving money where it matters...”
