It’s quite impressive that they can incorporate that final camera that is presumably user-mounted. Things like this can be “easy” if you know the angles and positions of all of the cameras very precisely, but I think that having that final camera in an “unknown” position really complicates things. I wonder if it can

Well, if you’re monitoring the CO levels in the cabin, that’s what the levels are, and that’s what matters to the passenger. If the exhaust is “lost,” well then, the CO isn’t a problem for the passenger anymore!

I often think that a la carte for someone who consumes a relatively large amount of content just means you pay a smaller amount for a multitude of services versus a large amount for one or two services.

You raise a good point. I thought that myself when I read that “fact.” Are they saying that on certain days, the parisian air quality is worse than that of Beijing on that given day (which would be totally unsurprising), or are they saying that on some days the air quality in Paris is worse than Beijing’s average air

A very hollywood view of coding!

I’d agree with you... if he were on a track.

1st gear: on a somewhat related note, the other day I was driving by a house and I noticed that the attached garage was below what looked like the living room. I’ve never had an attached garage, and it got me wondering, what sort of risk of carbon monoxide poisoning is there with attached garages, from CO leaking into

Okay.... but where’s the on-board footage?!?!

You dispose of your gum in the way they specify, hopefully don’t get arrested, but either way, you let the courts decide who is right. You’ll never “win” an argument with a cop.

Well, if resisting arrest where not a thing, how would police get anyone to comply with anything? Even if someone was doing something as harmless as smoking in a non-smoking area, what are the police supposed to do if they just say “nought-uh, not stopping?” Just give them a ticket and walk away, while they continue

I find glass bottles harder to come by. And more annoying to dispose of. So, only rarely. But it may indeed taste better! I haven’t put much thought into it. Perhaps that’s why IBC is my favorite root beer!

I love ale-8! My wife lived in Kentucky for a while when we were dating, and I always made it a point to drink as much of that as I could while there. And indeed, I didn't even know that they sold it in cans.

Well, I am of the opinion that when it comes to matter of taste how you feel about it actually is indeed the most important thing. So, I could see a plastic beer bottle not being as good even though scientifically it might be better. Either way, cheers!

You might feel that way, but you’re completely wrong. Glass is more conductive than plastic, and aluminum is way more conductive (200 times as much) than plastic. In addition, plastic bottles are typically thicker than aluminum cans (the thicker the better, for conductivity reasons).

Hopefully they’ll do better than these guys!

If you’re passing them over and over again, that really means that you’re not getting anywhere by passing them. I’m not saying it’s not annoying, but I am saying that typically this has a very little effect if any on your final arrival time. Also, in most states, cyclists are allowed to pass stopped traffic on the

I agree with you, with one exception: things happen faster on a motorcycle. As a cyclist, I’ve had plenty of moments where I think “this person probably doesn’t see me,” and can react accordingly. You have more time to anticipate and react (in general... sometimes you have none, or you’re already going at traffic

Mine is working for now, but I think Google Now is just a troll. For the longest time, within 30 minutes of arriving at work, I would get a “time to home...” notification. C’mon! You’re killing me google now!

You definitely can’t have a lung expansion injury if you’re not diving on compressed air!

Yes, I *think* that such a thing already exists, she just wasn’t using it or didn’t activate it. You can’t activate this if you’re passed out, and I don’t think you know that you’re going to pass out!
