Pretty much every currently successful festival started out as a small passion project of a couple people.

Some people say trap is the punk movement of hip-hop.

Somewhat related TED Talk about motivation and how the best things in a workplace can be achieved by providing people enough money that they don’t have to worry about it and then letting them self-organize and choose what they’re going to work on and how.

Here’s the link. The person who mentioned Hum and Dig is Alex McLevy.

That’s pretty cool. I’ve never had a friend make it as big as Silversun Pickups, but a friend of mine just played drums with Masked Intruder on a festival date, which is pretty cool. I was playing him in Words With Friends and wondering why he was taking so long. I hopped on Facebook and had my answer!

It was an event called Ooh-La-La Lucha put on by St. Andrews Hall and a hip local Mexican restaurant called Imperial Bar. It was a combination of “mariachi” (actually a local blues duo doing mariachi style covers of songs), burlesque, lucha, and a headlining set by a pop/soul singer from Detroit named Jessica

“Lazy Eye” was always one of my favorite Rock Band songs and “Panic Switch” is probably my favorite SP song, but I like the melancholy of “Kissing Families” and its emotional video.

You won’t change your tune, because I have already given you avenues to actually address my claim that you’ve refused to acknowledge.

OK... I lied. I really want you to understand that your entire line of attack is wrong. Not because I disagree with you (I totally do), but because I want you to understand that you aren’t even doing a good job of arguing your bad opinions.

I never claimed there was an arms race or that I have an “expert opinion” (also, you missed a quotation mark there).

I could ask the same of you. My initial point had nothing to do with moderates at all. It was just me saying that if liberals bought guns in the amount that conservatives do, then it might make conservatives worried. Nothing you have posted counters that opinion and, in fact, the statistic you posted supports what I

I don’t think you know how logic works.

I don’t actually know what you’re trying to argue against, because I didn’t present any statistics and what you posted does support what I said.

Hopefully this makes the GOP overconfident and will make every other race easier.

Deftones getting sexy with a cover of Sade’s “No Ordinary Love”:

The Deftones live Sade and Bowie as well as Slayer and Drive Like Jehu. The Deftones are awesome.
