Very true. Everyone has baby photos of them being held by their dank shirtless tío <3

Yep. This isn’t new. Most babies are handed to whatever parent is most ready and encouraged to do skin to skin. A baby’s whole life has consisted of one very traumatic experience so far and the warm skin and smell and heartbeat sound if you put them right on your chest soothes them.

Right?! no shirtless man ever held a baby before theez damn milennials.

Yeah. The birth center where our kids were born required that fathers bathe the newborns and then keep them warm with skin to skin contact. I ended up majorly changing my eating habits after my first kid was born because I looked so bad shirtless in the newborn shots.

Hmm. I guess some people are just generally not comfortable with skin-to-skin in general? I was kind of like that before I was a parent - I also didn’t like hugs. Now I feel like I’m deficient in every single vitamin and mineral if I don’t touch cheeks with my kid and squeeze him once a day. He is a total physical

Also it feels good <3

I feel like there have been multiple questions about the whole skin-to-skin thing lately which is very confusing to me. Like, do people really not know that skin-to-skin contact is suggested for babies? I have nieces and nephews, but no children of my own and I’ve known this for years. And if I hadn’t already known,

After three children, I can attest that skin to skin contact with your newborn does foster a great bond with your children. It also is the first test of fatherhood - not dropping your child when they grab a fistful of chest hair and yank it out.

I think Star Wars Vans should be mandatory footwear! (so long as I can get a version that is a sneaker wedge :P)

If I could only find a killer job in which my white trash Old Navy plastic flipflops or my Star Wars Vans would be acceptable!

I am glad the focus in the media lately has been on the survivors and not the perpetrators. It discourages copycats and possibly helps those who have been hurt cope. (maybe?) And that was a lovely rendition.

- SJP was terribly miscast

That’s why I like it - it is so genuinely uncomfortable. And you understand what SJP is trying to say, but she articulates it ALL WRONG so you also can’t help but side with Diane Keaton. Ugh, love it.

I always have to skip the dinner scene. It’s so uncomfortable.

God this movie made me cry my eye makeup off. I remember having to walk through the mall with red swollen eyes to get out to my car. I loved it. Swearing and supportive, dying Mom Diane Keaton was everything!

My mom found this very cathartic to watch after my brother got engaged to my SIL. Our relationship with our SIL is a mixed bag.

It’s the Mandela Effect.

New York City is one of the characters. So it’s Sex And the City.

Titus on Kimmy Schmidt also thought this and was VERY upset when Kimmy set him straight (see: season 4)

Also the use of the phrase ‘female masseuse’ is both redundant and offensive.
